As a sire of racehorses, Miner's Lamp sired 61 National Hunt
(steeplechasing) and Flat winners, as well as numerous Irish
Point-to-Point winners.
In a short career as a sport horse sire, Miner's Lamp sired a
CCI**** horse, Davy (see photo at right, from Bramham
CCI***), who earned 450 BE points, and was long listed for
Sydney Olympics 2000.
He also sired sired Lady Sphere (BSJA winner of £691) and
Sandby Jasmine, 2nd 2003 High Point Performance Awards,
IDHS (Irish Draught cross), as well as Haddon Hurricane, winner
of the Small Riding Horse championship at the Horse of the
Year Show in 2006 (small picture below).



Of course, Miner's Lamp's most famous progeny is has
accumulated 768 BE points, won the Burghley Young
Event Horse Finals as a five year old (two bottom
Championships at Le Lion d'Angers in 2006, 2nd at
Blenheim CCI*** in 2007, 3rd at Boekelo CCI*** in 2007,
and was INDIVIDUAL BRONZE MEDALLIST at the
BEIJING OLYMPIC GAMES 2008.

includes THREE wins in Novice at Longleat, Mattingley,
and Tweseldown and a 4th place in his first Intermediate
at Lulworth Castle.
5 years old: Burghley Young Event Horse Finals Winner
