Because I do not have conformation photos of
this stallion, I am offering a portion of his
4-yr-old, Anglo-European Studbook inspection
video. There are two segments, primarily to
keep the file sizes smaller. The first is in-hand,
and the second is in-hand with some free
jumping.

Part 1                                Part 2
Mersley Mon Capatain is an International Competition Stallion by Calando I out of a Capitol
I mare (stamm 18B1). Cappi was bred in Germany (Holstein papers) and imported to
England as a young horse. He is fully approved by the Anglo European Studbook. His
semen has only available for breeding as frozen (due to competition commitments); every
mare bred to him has conceived with the frozen semen.

He produces both show jumpers and eventers, retaining the blood on thoroughbred mares
while introducing scope and a relaxed temperament in all of his youngstock.

Current competition plans for Cappi are for him to compete at all the major UK shows, as
well as selected shows in Europe. He is now getting into the top 5 placing's at 1.40 m; but
at his age (7 in 2005) this is very respectable! Early in 2006 he moved up a grade (from
Grade C to Grade B), and so he's well on his way.

According to his owner, "The most endearing quality he has is his temperament and it
shows in all his foals."
