Mersley Mon Capatain
Zymphony  owned by Joanne Nuscher

Out of a TB mare by Polynesian Flyer.

Pictured top left at Upperville as a
yearling in 2008. She finished 2008
2nd in Zone 2 in the Yearling Hunter
Breeding.

In 2009, she will finish the year 1st in
Zone 2 in the Two-Year-Old Hunter
Breeding division, and is currently in
the top 10 in the nation.

In addition to this fantastic result, she
also WON her PHR class at Dressage
at Devon (see picture bottom left).
Mersley Mon Capatain is an International Competition Stallion by Calando I out of a Capitol
I mare. His dam line is Stamm 18B1. Cappi was bred in Germany (Holstein papers) and
imported to England as a young horse. He is fully approved by the Anglo European
Studbook. His semen has only been available for breeding as frozen; every mare bred to
him has conceived with the frozen semen (100% conception rate). His foals are eligible for
registration with AES and Zangersheide.

His most notable quality is his amazing temperament, which he consistently passes on to
his foals. He adds size and temperament, without losing quality. His first US foal, out of a
very light-type TB mare, was
Zymphony, an elegant, quality filly, much lighter than your
normal heavier Holsteiner type. She has been very successful in the USEF Hunter
Breeding classes, and is pictured below. On the basis of her success, Cappi finished 2008
ranked in the top 20 in the nation among Hunter Breeding sires, and this year he is
currently ranked in the top 12.
