McGuigan’s performance speaks for itself. He has proven himself in the prestigious world of Three-
Day Eventing with three top-four placings in his four starts. These include top British horse at the
World Young Horse Championships for seven year olds (at Le Lion D’Angers), and in 2002 he won
the British Horse Breeding Eventing Award. In 2005, he finished in 10th place at the Boekelo CCI***
-- he just keeps getting better and better!

He will continue to be ridden by Individual World Silver and Olympic Team Medallist Jeanette
Brakewell, who says: “McGuigan is one of the easiest and trainable horses I have ever ridden. His
attitude to work and life is very straightforward, with plenty of scope and stamina.”

Please note that although McGuigan is on the small side, his full sibling is 16.3 hh, and his foals are
of good size. His first crops of foals indicate that he does not produce small foals.
