Littledale Bright Star is a very correct and impressive pony with a lot of character; he is a worthy replacement for
his famous father Catherston Nightsafe.

Catherston Nightsafe is one of the most famous pony stallions ever produced in Great Britain. A prolific winner
in-hand and under saddle, Catherston Nightsafe was the Lloyds Bank Supreme In-Hand Champion at Royal Bath &
West, Supreme Champion at the National Pony Show, West Midlands Stallion Show, and New Forest Stallion Show.
Catherston Nightsafe had a lifetime breeding permission in Germany, where he was leased for two
seasons, and his first progeny in Germany included both the National Male and Female 2-year-old Champions.

Littledale Bright Star's dam, Gwersyllt Town Mouse, was a much loved lead-rein, first ridden pony of impeccable
breeding with some of the best Welsh and riding pony bloodlines available.

Littledale Bright Star's ground covering strides and powerful jump make him a serious prospect for the breeders of
both horses and ponies to consider when trying to produce a smaller animal without sacrificing movement and
performance. He visited the Whitakers late in 2007, and did some competitions with 10-year-old Joe Whitaker
(younger brother of William), as seen above in the photo. He is now back at Catherston for the 2008 stud season,
but they have plans to send him back to compete more in 2008.

It is important for breeders to see his video and realize what an outstanding temperament he has. In the video he is
ridden by a young girl in her first stallion show, and he looks every inch the quiet child's pony who couldn't jump a
fence bigger than 2'3" -- and then you see his picture with Joe Whitaker, and realize that he is one of those
wonderful small ponies who have talent and athleticism, without having sacrified a child-safe temperament.
