Leading British Event Sire according to the World Breeding Federation Rankings in
2000. Not only was he ranked 6th in the world, but he was the youngest stallion and
had the most progeny competing internationally. By the World Bronze Medal winning
dressage horse Dutch Courage, out of the Advanced event mare Welton Gazelle,
Catherston Dazzler carries two of the most influential performance lines available to
the serious breeder. One of the most exciting event sire in the world, Dazzler’s
progeny have competed successfully at the Sydney Olympics, Badminton, Burghley,
and the World Equestrian Games (Rome).

Catherston Dazzler is one of the most talented horses of his time. He has the swing
and elasticity so essential to make a top class horse in any sphere and passes these
qualities on to his offspring. He has 734 British Dressage points and has represented
Great Britain at Grand Prix level both at home and abroad. Dazzler also competed
successfully in Eventing, placing 2nd and 4th at Borough Court and Tweseldown
Horse Trials in 1991. In 1988 and 1989 he won the Masterlock Recruitment Potential
Competition Horse Championships, as well as taking the prize for the Best Potential
Show Jumper each time.

Dazzler's frozen semen has shown excellent fertility both in the United States and
abroad.
