These prices can change without notice as semen is sold or at the stallion owners request. Many of our stallions are older,
with limited doses of frozen semen available for the North American market.

The semen is packaged in 0.5-mL straws, and a "dose" of semen is a full insemination dose, the number of straws required
to provide the proper amount of progressively motile sperm to impregnate a mare. This number is determined by analysis of
the semen after it was frozen, and can vary from as few as three straws to as many as 10 straws, depending upon the
stallion and the collection date. You should always verify that you are getting the correct number of straws, as determined at
the time of freezing.

Please realize that concessions are available for most of the stallions, according to the owner's stipulations. If
you think your mare deserves a concession, please call or email with her details.
* In the UK, most of Opposition's breedings are performed using only 1 straw per insemination
(4 = full dose). If you want 1 straw, the price is $500; however, you MUST use a veterinarian who
specializes in reproduction, with experience in low-dose inseminations.
