These prices can change without notice as semen is sold or as the stallion owners request. Concessions
are available for many of our stallions, dependent upon the number of doses of frozen semen available, the
mare being bred, and the stallion owner's policy. Many of our stallions are older, with limited doses of frozen
semen available for the North American market.
Bulk prices are listed for those stallions whose owners were willing to offer a discount for purchase of three
doses of semen. For those stallions who do not have a price listed, there is no discount available, usually
because there either isn't enough semen available or because the price per dose is already discounted.
Fleetwater Opposition and Jumbo have special contracts -- they are sold by breeding, not by insemination
dose. As of May 7, 2007, Jumbo only has 14 doses of semen left; therefore, his owner requested that we
change the sales method for him. Fleetwater Opposition also has a limited amount of semen left; he is sold
under the same terms his owner sells his semen in Europe.
PLEASE NOTE: THESE PRICES ARE BY THE INSEMINATION DOSE, NOT BY STRAW! A DOSE IS THE
NUMBER OF STRAWS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THE PROPER AMOUNT OF PROGRESSIVELY MOTILE
SPERM TO IMPREGNATE A MARE, WHICH IS DETERMINED AT THE TIME THE SEMEN IS FROZEN.
